This is a packaging project inspired by the annual Best of Brooklyn Food and Beer Festival. This festival allows the public to nominate and vote for the best businesses in Brooklyn. It takes place in Industry City and showcases chefs, restaurants and breweries. This festival is great opportunity for small businesses to get recognition and boosts community morale. Some of the beers featured have limited edition packaging made for the festival. I designed my packaging in accordance to this, as a special edition meant for the showcase. I payed homage to Brooklyn by incorporating the bridge iconography in my logo. Then to make the design feel very classic and bold I made the can white as a nod to vintage beer can designs.
